From: Dave Platt <Dave-Platt%LADC@CISL-SERVICE-MULTICS.ARPA> From Electronic Component News, February 1986, page 34: "The D020 system accelerator turns any 68000-based computer into a high-performance, plug-in 68020/68881 development system. Unix support is available, allowing the system developer the opportunity of greatly optimizing system performance while optimizing program code for the 68020 chip. A single unit without coprocessor is $995. Contact Tom Powell, Synergy Microsystems, 1820 Cambridge Avenue, Cardiff, CA 92007. (619) 753-2191." The picture of a sample board (with 68881) appears to be extremely compact... the CPU and coprocessor take up about 60% of the real estate, and there are four or five DIPs, a few smaller components, and what look like two rows in-line cable terminators.
