-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I'm not gonna eat this -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I've seen several request to add this person or that to a INFO-AMIGA mail list. I can't recall ever seeing the mailing list formation message. However if it does exsist and the moderator is reading this, please add my name to the mailing list. However if it does not exsist (has anyone gotten mail, etc) then lets confirm this to the net. From: Eric <LAVITSKY@RED.RUTGERS.EDU> Hi, Once again: please do not send messages to this list asking to be placed on INFO-AMIGA. If you can read net.micro.amiga you are reading INFO-AMIGA and vice-versa. INFO-AMIGA is the Arpanet equivalent of net.micro.amiga - the two newsgroups are gatewayed together, which is why you can see people from Arpanet sites posting to net.micro.amiga. Please pass this information on to anyone who may be curious, I don't want to have to repeat this message too many times. Thanx, Eric Lavitsky INFO-AMIGA Coordinator INFO-AMIGA-REQUEST@RUTGERS -------

From: cthulhu@athena.MIT.EDU Hello! I heard about your newletter/board/organization/whatever through Info-Mac, but I'll soon be getting an Amiga, so I was wondering about Info-Amiga. I've tried working it like Info-Mac does (ftp Rutgers.arpa), but I couldn't find any directory... Info would be appreciated... Thanx cthulhu@charon.mit.edu
LAVITSKY@BLUE.RUTGERS.EDU@caip.RUTGERS.EDU (02/17/86)
From: Eric <LAVITSKY@BLUE.RUTGERS.EDU> Hi, There has been some confusion lately on where to post messages for INFO-AMIGA (the Arpanet side of net.micro.amiga). Here is the *only* information you should believe on where to post things! 1) Messages for the entire list. i.e. messages about the Amiga - questions, news, technical info etc. should be sent to INFO-AMIGA@RUTGERS.ARPA or INFO-AMIGA@RED.RUTGERS.EDU . 2) Questions regarding distribution (i.e. Add me to the list, delete me from the list) should be sent to INFO-AMIGA-REQUEST@RUTGERS.ARPA (or RED.RUTGERS.EDU). 3) Archives are kept on Arpanet host TRANTOR, in the info-amiga directory, not on RUTGERS! Do not send messages to the following addresses! info-amiga-from-usenet@rutgers info-amiga-request@caip.rutgers.edu They will not be forwarded to the proper addresses! Hope this makes your life and mine easier... Thanx, Eric -------
