Ok folks, now that the Mandelbrot program has been out there in circulation
for a few weeks, some of you must have discovered some interesting images that
you'd like to share with others. I am soliciting submissions for a future
Amiga Freely Redistributable Library disk containing only Mandelbrot images
in IFF format. The rules are simple:
1) Pick the images you particularly like, give them creative names
(like Joe_Smith_5 :-), stick them on an Amiga disk, and send them
to:
Fred Fish
345 Scottsdale Road
Pleasant Hill, Ca. 94523
2) I will pick the best, using my extensive knowledge of fractal
theory (hey, I just read the Sept '84 byte article :-).
3) All those making submissions will have their disks returned with
copies of the best images submitted.
4) Deadline for mailing submissions is the last day of February.
5) The person, or possibly top two, submitting the most interesting
and eye-catching images will receive a special prize, or maybe
that should be (sur)prise.
6) Please include the information you fed to the mandelbrot program
to create the images submitted (hah, thought you could be
sneaky and use Dpaint freehand did you!).
So, let's see some really spectacular images!!!
-Fred
