From: CAROZZONI@RADC-TOPS20.ARPA Recently, I became a subscriber to BIX. The service doesn't seem as bad as I have heard about. The Amiga seems to have a rather large following and I have found some programs on BIX that aren't on the ARPAnet. The problem that I am having with BIX is that the programs are stored in what they call the Maxicomm Protocol (headers and packing). My OnLine communications package can XMODEM the files, but now I need another program to "STRIP" them. Does anyone have a BASIC or C program that will do this. If there is interest (and with proper approvals), I would be willing to put them on the ARPAnet for access. Joseph Carozzoni carozzoni@radc-tops20 -------
