Cable News Network had a story a few weeks ago about some work
at the University of Colorado (I think it was at Boulder).  They
said that they had developed a non-volatile RAM!  The chip apparently
has some type of coating that's used to save the memory while the
power is off.  Does anyone know anything more about this?
