I just talked to Dave Cook at Electronic Arts this morning (2/27)
about my Dpaint backup disk. I sent in the card and $10 check
at the end of January and I haven't seen it yet. According to
Dave, he's working with the local post office to help prevent
their sorting(?) machine from ripping open the envelopes/packages
with the microdisks in them. It seems that the microdisks were
falling out of the parcels and falling onto the floor of the post
office. Dave says that this should be fixed "real soon now" - at
least they're working on it together. ^-------------^
                                                     |
Quotes are mine 'cause I've heard this too often
but then again, haven't we all???

On a slightly different note:
Since I've have my Amiga I've had to make LD calls to EA and
Commodore. In most cases the phones have been answered by
reasonably informed and very polite individuals. Maybe this
industry is getting its act together. Thanks folks!
