Can someone give me a WORKING example of how to start a task and pass it a message? I haven't been able to get my hands on any 1.1 manuals, and the example in the 1.0 manual (which I borrowed from a friend) doesn't seem to work. I made the obvious changes (initializing list headers, using &port instead of port, etc.) but it still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. - I am using Aztec C and have seen to it that the childtask initializes a4. But even if Aztec C is part of the problem, I haven't been able to get it to work with my friend's Lattice C compiler either. P.P.S. - Where are the manuals!!??? -- UUCP: ..!seismo!k.cs.cmu.edu!mcb ARPA: mcb@k.cs.cmu.edu "It came time to move, so I packed up my Salvador Dali print of two blindfolded dental hygienists trying to make a circle on an Etch-a-Sketch..."
