[net.micro.amiga] changes at cbm

grr@cbm.UUCP (George Robbins) (03/23/86)

Due to changes at Commodore and frustrations trying to cope with the
netnews noise volume on a small system, we are now running netnews
on the engineering department VAX 11/750, cbmvax.

Most of the mail links have also been shifted over to cbmvax, and after
a suitable delay for netmap changes, the cbm system will leave the net.

cbmvax connections:	caip, seismo, ihnp4, allegra, vu-vlsi, bpa

Please note that Commodore is now running news in several places,
cbmvax in West Chester, a cluster of Sun work stations in West Chester,
a cluster of Sun work stations at Commodore/Amiga in Los Gatos and
the departing cbm system in West Chester.
