AMIGA NAPLPS PROJECT REPORT =========================== We are still receiving information on NAPLPS and other reference material. If you have any suggestions and/or sources of information on NAPLPS, or if you are interested in recieving a prepared "Information Packet" on NAPLPS, then send your request via USnail to Eric Black (please E-mail a separate response just to be sure). His address is: P.O. Box 118 La Honda, CA. 94020 Eric's UUCP address is: {sun, pyramid, hplabs}!chronon!eric and on the WELL: eblack Please mail a self-addressed stamped 9x12 manila envelope (or just your address, if you don't have the envelope) with enough postage for about 1/2 inches of Xerox bond paper (i.e. $2.40). For those of you requesting more information via UUCP, I have received a lot of replies, but would like to ask those who replied to re-mail your Net addresses to me again, so I can mail you notices and additional information on NAPLPS. We are undergoing an effort to post a complete tutorial based on the material we are receiving. It will probably be posted in the net.graphics newsgroup, but an announcement and pointer to it will be posted here. If you haven't received a reply over Net mail, it is probably due to my local site (or others in the path) rejecting my mail. Due to a system crash, it appears that my "mbox" file got munged, I would like to ask those people who mailed requests to please re-mail them. Also, please include your Snailmail address and/or phone number. After each of the NAPLPS members have received their "Packet", we will hold another on-line meeting to discuss more of the technical aspects and implememtation techniques. This is essentially the LAST CALL and chance to come aboard and join our project. The on-line meeting will take place on the WELL, for more information on how to get an account on the WELL, contact Matthew McClure (voice) at (415) 332-4335 and ask for an account. After you receive the "Info Packet", please read it, and let us know if we missed anything. This NAPLPS project for the Amiga is coming along very sucessfully, and we thank everyone participating for their input. We have room for more participants, so let us know what you can do. Mail your request to me (crunch) and I will make sure you are on the mailing list. John Draper Programmers Net UUCP: ihnp4!ptsfa!well!crunch BIX: crunch Delphi: CRUNCH WELL: crunch
