[net.micro.amiga] New Amiga Newsletter

jcz@ncsu.UUCP (John A. Toebes, VIII) (04/05/86)

Announcing the 'Amigan: Journeyman and Apprentice' newsletter:

Dick Barnes, editor of the SuperPET Gazette for the past 3 years is now
producing a newsletter for the Amiga for both high and low level users.
The newsletter is intended to provide a concise reference to the available
Amiga documentation and to summarize important development topics as
well as workarounds for bugs. The newsletter includes product reviews and
useful tutorials. One noteworthy feature is that the articles are crisp
without a lot of filler (or hype). Also, Dick's editorial humor makes
the articles enjoyable to read yet still informative. No advertising will
be accepted so all reviews will fair and unbiased.

Each issue will be ~25 pages of double sided text printed on 3 hole punched
paper with pull out sections forming a reference manual/index as the newsletter
progresses. Subscription rate is currently $25.00 a year for 6 issues.

To give you a chance to see what it is all about, he is offering a free
copy of the first issue to the first 1200 people who request one. If there
are several people in an area interested, please only get one and pass it
around to evaluate. To subscribe or get the first issue, write to:

Disclaimer: I never knew what I was talking about, so why should this be different?
