From: Louis A. Mamakos <louie@trantor.UMD.EDU> The subject says it all. MicroEMACS which was just posted to the USENET net.sources newsgroup is available via anonymous FTP from the Internet host TRANTOR.UMD.EDU. The note in the net.sources distribution indicated that a later version, 3.6, will soon be available in the mod.sources group. When that version arrives, it too will be available. MicroEMACS 3.5 is in the file /info-amiga/microemacs_3.5.portar in a portable archive format. If you don't have the `portar' program that was posted early on, it is available in /info-amiga/portar.c . This programs runs under both UNIX and AmigaDOS. Note that you can manually split apart the archive with a text editor if you like. To access these files and other, connect to the FTP server on TRANTOR.UMD.EDU (internet address 128.8.0.14) and use "anonymous" as the the userid, with any password. All of the amiga related files are in the /info-amiga directory. Note that if you don't have access to the Internet (via the ARPANET, MILNET, etc), I can't help you. This machine doesn't have any UUCP connections, and there are no provisions for other access. Louis A.
