There have already been three rounds of layoffs here prior to the one that inlcuded the Amiga people. This is not a whole lot of fun for anybody. Any jealousy we West Chester people may have felt over the privledged status of the Amiga people/projects is gone in this wave of blood. Commodore is also continuing to support the C64/C128 users, but perhaps you should realize that this effort is quite small compared to the Amiga effort. It would be irresponsible to forget the existing user base, even foolish, considering that people are still buying C64's by the hundreds of thousands. Also please note that there are a number of people West Chester and other installations that are actively engaged in Amiga peripheral and software development. The kinds of decisions that initiate these layoffs are made at the highest levels of managment. The engineers here and at Los Gatos don't like what's happening any more than you do. I am feeding interesting postings to middle managment, but I doubt flames or derrogatory articles are going to get forwarded very far... -- George Robbins - now working with, uucp: {ihnp4|seismo|caip}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing arpa: cbmvax!grr@seismo.css.GOV Commodore, Engineering Department fone: 215-431-9255 (only by moonlite)
