[net.micro.amiga] Gadget Editor project

crunch@well.UUCP (John Draper) (06/11/86)

Thanx everyone for your responses, I have compiled a list of those
people willing to help with the gadget editor. What I need now, is a
little background information on each of you so I can better determine
in what capacity you all can help. I would appreciate it is each of
you would answer the following questionair so I can better determine how
you all can help.

1. How much time to you spend programming the Amiga in C?
2. Which C compiler do you use?
3. If you aren't experienced in C, what experience to you have
    in other languages?
4. Which sections in the Amiga are you familiar with? A few are
    listed below:
    - Intuition
    - Exec/multi-tasking
    - Graphics
    - Disk I/O
    - Layers
    - Device I/O
    - Libraries
    - Fonts
5. If you aren't familiar with any of these, then which of these are
    you interested in learning.
6. Please describe in a small paragraph, a little background about
    yourself, such as:
    -- hobbys
    -- your work (Job)
-- If in school, which subjects are you taking?
-- The city you live in

Above is a list of the people that signed up to help out. Please
understand that NONE have yet indicated what kind of programming experience
they have, so don't let this discourage you from signing up.

I have personally mailed back responses to those requesting to be
put on the project with the exception of Todd Johnson and Craig Norborg.
This is because I have NO UUCP pthat that can get to those people, If
any Net guru's out there want to find a pathway to these people from the
WELL, Please don't hesitate to mail at the following net address.

Thank you all

<lunch>

There were several of you interested folks here on Usenet that signed
up to help out with the Gadget Editor. I want to incorperate those
changes that were done, So PLEASE get in your updates NO LATER THAN
TUESDAY by mailing them to me at the Net address listed below. I want
time to add these changes BEFORE the badge meeting so we can get off
our first primitive release. I tried to mail to several of you folks
bu my local DAEMON gagged. Please leave alternate net addresses (if
you can) so I can try alternate path's to reach you. If you have NOT
recieved a reply from me, it is a strong likelyhood that MY path to YOU
is not working. Please re-mail your request to help, so I can get you
added to the list. I would like all requests in by next FRIDAY, also
please state how you want me to send you the source code to the Gadget
Editor. It is in 8 modules, and I CAN UUCP them, but that would
increase site traffic. Also, planning on a meeting on Sunday Next
week at 5 pm West coast time on the WELL, and another meeting at 6 pm
on the Amiga Forum on Compuserve. Transcripts of these meetings will be
posted in the Programmers Net Conference on BOTH compuserve and the WELL.
