I picked up a copy of the July edition of STEREO REVIEW at CES, and they list an ad of NATIONWIDE ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTORS INC with an Amiga going for $729. Is this for real? -- The views above are those of my keyboard, not my organization. And I bet that the ad you saw had the same hitch: Amiga $ 729 "Free" Monitor $ 495 (which you HAVE to buy) --------------------- $ 1224 (rather than $1295. Whoopeee.) See how it works? You get to buy an Amiga for $ 729 if you pay $495 for the monitor. Slick marketing. By the by, according to our local dealer, they have been informed, rather quietly, by Commodore that the monitor "give away" program has been restarted. Also: anyone heard anything about an Amiga 2500 to be released later this year/early next year? /********************************************************************\ |* David L.
