The extra 80K of RAM is used to hold the "expansion.lib" library (which
contains the auto-config routines). This RAM _appears_ to be in use, but like
any library, is *removed* once a program asks for more memory than would be
available otherwise.

Actually, Computers Anonymous is a distributor of Amiga products with
close ties to CardCo. The founders of CardCo have formed a new company
dedicated exclusively to the development of quality Amiga products.
This company is called "C Ltd". Since CardCo only sold their products
through distributorships, it is quite likely that the phone number
that appeared in the aMEGA ad was for Computers Anonymous.

In case anyone is interested, CardCo did not actually "go out of
buisiness" in the chapter 11 sense, but more or less made a conscious
decision to move away from the less profitable C-64 market and re-organize
their resources to better serve the needs of the fast-moving Amiga market.
In the works are an expansion box (rests on top of the Amiga, low profile,
6 slot, low cost), one/two-meg plug-in memory card, multi-function card
(clock, extra serial port(s), modem?), DMA (fast) Hard Disk, etc...
