Hi, There will be a meeting of the Jersey Amiga User's Group this Friday July 18th at 7:30 P.M. in rm. 114 of Hill Center, Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ (next two New Brunswick) . This will be the largest meeting we have ever had. Scheduled to appear this month are two of the top software and hardware people from Amiga. Dale Luck, designer of almost all of the graphics routines in the Amiga ROMs, and Bill Kolb, senior hardware design engineer under Jay Miner will be present to answer questions and demonstrate new hardware and software. Also present will be Scott Petersen, President of Byte by Byte corporation, who will be demonstrating a complete expansion system for the Amiga including a hard disk drive that can transfer data at 1.2 megabyte/sec without interrupting the CPU (using DMA). This marks the first time that people from the Amiga design facility in Los Gatos, CA have made an appearance at a public function east of San Francisco. Also of note - The bureau chief of Infoworld (I believe his name is Scott Mace), will be present at the meeting. Yes he does own an Amiga and loves it, and this may be a chance for some great Amiga publicity in the press. Everyone is invited to attend, see and hear about the Amiga frlom several knowledgable sources first hand. If you have any further questions, try contacting me at (201) 634-5259 or Perry at (201) 271-4522.
