I have an application which requires the overlaying of graphic images
on a standard video image -- I gather that "genlock" is something
intended to do this. However, that is about the extent of my knowledge,
and so I need some questions answered:
1) What precisely is genlock, and what will it allow me to do?
2) What additional equipment is required and how much will it cost?
3) Are there any video disk players available which could be easily
interfaced to the amiga? The application I have requires the
ability to quickly seek to any particular video frame -- is
a video disk the only device which provides such a capability?
