[net.micro.amiga] Amigas at the wrong voltage

mnl@cernvax.UUCP (mnl) (08/04/86)

I'm planning to buy an Amiga at some point, but my current mobility
is causing me some problems. Specifically, I'm currently in Switzerland,
but I'm about to go the the U.S. for 4 months, back to Switzerland for
2 years, and probably back to the U.S. after that. So the question is,
which works better: U.S. Amigas at 220 volts/50 hz, or European Amigas
at 110 volts/60 hz? Does anyone have experience operating Amigas at
the wrong voltage? How about the monitors, and any peripherals?
Please mail to me directly, and I will summarize to the net. Thanks.
