In response to an article concerned with software available for the amiga and it's usefulness I just had to add my 2 cents. I use my amiga regularly for text processing (using Scribble!) and spreadsheet stuff (using analyze!). Both these programs are robust(never crashed my amiga) and use the entire intuition interface. I also run them multitasked and find them to be fine as long as I have enough memory. It seems to me that the amiga environment is reasonably reliable if you run software that is well written. I have used some stuff that will crash the machine all the time, but heck that's what poor software is all about. The amiga OS is powerful and flexible, but you pay for that with the ability to shoot yourself in the foot if you're not careful. If you write good programs they run fine. Also, the new versions of AmigaDOS are fixing many of the bugs you see now. Well, guess I'm flamed out. I enjoy my amiga more each time I use it.
