[net.micro.amiga] WISHLIST SURVEY

rick@mips.UUCP (Rick Frazier) (08/18/86)

I have had an amiga since last fall, and really love it, but there are a
few things I'd like as accessories/add ons. As there are many machines
represented out there in netland, I am wondering just what other people
would like. I know nearly everyone would like more memory and a hard disk,
but what I'm wondering about is what else? Therefore, I am conducting a
survey in an attempt to find out how common my needs/wishes are.

I'd like to know what you want, and how you'd use it. For example,

1) WISH: a prototyping card with ground gridding, for about 120-140 ic's
(assume 20 pin packages) with spaces for bypass and bulk caps,
the bus buffers and address selection parts already laid out,
and maybe even autoconfig stuff on board.
USE: for prototyping other projects, messin' about with hardware stuff.

2) WISH: an i/o board that buffers external dc signals, and/or controls
output drivers or relays. minimum 8 inputs, 4 outputs, expandable
to many each way. read and write board as if it were memory. Optional
analog inputs as plug in or as separate board.
USE: alarm interface, whole house controller, process control, etc

You get the idea....
If you've got a wish for something that's already available in some form, but
not quite what you need, let me know what it is that you do need......

Please respond via email, and I'll post a summary to the net in a few weeks.
