Followup-To: Distribution: < eat this line - please! > Here's a report from the front lines: Commodore-Amiga presented a booth at the recently concluded Siggraph convention held August 18-22 in Dallas, Texas. I was there. Attending the booth as sub-exhibitors were A2 systems (framegrabber) NewTech (Digi-View), Byte-by-Byte (Expansion box with hard disk and slots plus expansion memory), CSA (68020 and 68881 expansion external box with 5 slots and hard disk), Octree Software (Caligari 3-d modelling package), Aegis (Animator, Draw), Microbotics (hard disk), Electronic Arts (Dan Silva brought the latest "beta" copy of DPaint II, WOW!!!), Terrapin Software (InfoMinder), Genlock (Hardware), New Xerox Color Printers ( clean and neat ), and a RayTracing Demo for the Amiga written by yours truly, amiga!bart... Most often overheard question: when can I buy a SideCar ??? This posting is meant as a brief encouragement to all of you out there who have supported the machine during this first year... the machine was taken seriously enough to get feelers from a "professional" Hollywood graphics software company about porting their code to a future rev of the Amiga. amiga!bart
