[ `--\- For the plane eater ] I want a bit bucket! The nil: device is nice, sometimes, but only provides half of what is really needed. If you try and open anything other than nil: (for instance, nil:throw.me.away), it prompts for a floppy named nil:. So how do I throw away output from those programs which automatically add an extension? (Most programs search for a `.'; if one is found, the file name is used as is; otherwise, an extension is added. Thus, nil:.lst won't open.) Or is there another way? So perhaps I'm being picky, but it should be easy enough to add. Right? -tom "kick the bucket" rokicki
