The Idea I had was to get a version of NewCli that would accept another argument. If you were to give the command newcli c:shell s:.login the system would startup a newcli and then automagicly run the first command on the line .. the rest would get passed to the program that is to be executed. Another Idea was to have another magic file in the s: directory. Somthing like newcli-sequence. And have newcli modified to automaticly execute this file *whenever* newcli is run. This would be a *VERY* useful feature. These are just a few suggestions I have about how to get the amiga more customisable. ( is that a word??? It is now..) A suggestion to Matt Dillon. You keep talking about BCPL. Does this mean that you want to make your shell resident???? THIS WOULD BE GREAT! But would your shell appear when you spawn out of any of the standard programs? My shell will not go resident until I get the latest release of Lattice (3.04). -Matt
