RE: >>... I'm just about ready to start looking for a monitor for my machine... I've already asked this question, but here goes again: At Siggraph, Aegis was demoing their software on a monitor with an Amiga label. It seemed to have a long persistence tube. Someone mentioned that it was a Mitsubishi. Does anyone know what it really was? >The Amiga has this wonderful(!) 23 pin connector which I've never >seen ANYWHERE before. I THINK they were advertising DB23s. If they don't have it, and you're desperate, and you are willing to have an unsheilded connector temporarily, you can always take off the plastic shielding of a DB25 and cut the thing down to the size of a DB23. Works great, we used it several times at Winner's Circle to make makeshift KV1311 cables. -Mitsu

If you had gone around the booth to the folks that were showing off a CAD system on the Amiba* you would have seen them using the SAME monitor 'cept it didn't have the Amiba* label on it. -Rusty- * Amiba (tm) The World's First Single Cell Computer! :-) Amiba is an unregistered trademark of God. ================================================================ *hardcopy* *electr{onic, ic}* Rusty Haddock ARPA: Haddock%TI-CSL@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA POB 226015 M/S 238 CSNET: Haddock@TI-CSL Texas Instruments Inc.
