I realized that I could have been wrong when I wrote the reply, but I
just found it strange that you would NEVER HAVE SPOTTED the c32.lib on
the disk, or learned of its existing in reading about the +l option in
the compiler.

The above disclaimer is written the way it is because I do NOT work for
Commodore or Amiga or Commodore-Amiga, or anyone. I DID work for Commodore
for almost 7 years until last February when I left to pursue software
development. Commodore graciously allowed me continued access to UseNet
to assist me and my colleague, and because I can [hopefully] contribute
to this forum.

I disagree, but I understand what you're saying.

This I just found hard to believe - because I didn't see how you could have
missed it when you were making your development system, or reading the
manual... but obviously I made a mistake, you didn't read the manual, and
apparently didn't look at what was on the disks.

I must repeat though, that I did realize in advance that I may have been
wrong.

BUT, you ARE right in saying I should keep my "beliefs" about other people's
practices (ethical or otherwise) to myself, and even though I apologized
in advance, obviously I thought it was true, or I wouldn't have written
it. So David, I hope you will accept my apology, and in the future, I
will keep "personal" comments completely out of my messages, and only
comment on the forum's subject matter - Amiga, Amiga software development,
etc.

Thanks.

You're speaking for others - how can you?

This is, I'm afraid, a CULTURAL problem. Being BORN English, I know the
word aristocratic well, and I have had problems with this in the past, but
I assure you it is not intentional. People give me a hard time for having
a large vocabulary. To them - "many long words".

I guess your emotion took over your typing here!

It is not MY product.
