<-----line eater chow ---> Since I haven't seen much discussion recently regarding the latest dates for updates, I'll ask what are (to me) three burning questions: 1. What is the latest estimate for release of DOS 1.2 (last I heard was sometime in November). 2. Same question for the Manx upgrade. I saw an article about a month and a half ago in which a considerable amount of information regarding the "next release" was discussed. (I think this information was obtained from the Manx BBS) Is there any other new information we avid Manx fans should know about? 3. Will the debugger mentioned in the documentation for 3.20a as being "included in the next release of the compiler" a) actually be included (as opposed to another purchase), and b) be something closer to a "c" source language debugger, a la MicroSoft CodeView for the PC? If not b) then does such a beastie exist yet for the Amiga, and how can I get it? (I'm getting real tired of running the debugger on a program which I know very well is going to crash the box to try to determine where I went wrong, then not being able to kill the process before the inevitable happens.) New subject. Another question: 1. I have the Fish disk (#21 I think) with the Mandelbrot explorer on it. Until I tried it, I was under the impression that only pull-down menus were supported under AmigaDOS, but the explorer program on this disk uses a pop-up menu. Did they have to implement this themselves, or have I missed something? If pop-up menus are not supported under 1.1, will they be supported under 1.2? If not, can I get in an early request for 1.3? These can be created with 'Double-Menu-Requestors' (DMRs), or by putting up requestors on mouse clicks (releases), using RMBTRAP. DMRs require a double-click to appear, RMBTRAP allows you to use the right button when it's not on the menu line for your own nefarious purposes.
