My newsfeed has been down for about 2 months so I missed who knows what in the way of news (including the VT100 emulator that everyone is waxing so enthusiastic about, waagh, sniff). Therefore if I missed a discussion of this topic please excuse. Anywho, I had an Amiga salesman and a computer rag say that the NEC Multisync will handle the hi-res mode of the Amiga without flickering as well as having a sharper display in the normal res modes. I called up to the NEC technical info number an the guy there said the NEC Multisync doesn't do interlaced modes. ??? What gives? Does the NEC Multisync handle all the res modes of the Amiga? Does it also have a long persistence phosphor so as to not flicker in high res? As the monitor can be gotten for in the $500 neighborhood this is certainly cheaper than most lp phosphor monitors I have seen quoted. I want to know should I add it to my wish list.
