[net.micro.amiga] Bug in Shell 2.03?

There appears to be a strange bug in shell 2.03 regarding indirection.
For example, 

	% date > sys:now	

produces a "Output redirection error", while

	% date >sys:now

works fine. Not a major problem, but it is there. By the way,
I am using 1.2 beta 4.
