Hello. I would like to go out soon and plunge for a C compiler (Manx developer system) and the Technical Reference manuals (all but the Intuition Ref Manual, which I have.) All I want to know is if Manx is planning on any revisions soon to the C compiler, and/or if the ROM Kernel Manuals are going to be changed for release 1.2. Thanks for any info you can provide; I will summarize if there is interest. As for broken Amigas (I was the one who fried his through the parallel port) - after charging me $45 apiece for the supposedly $20.75 8520 EIA chips, which I had already tried replacing, and giving me a new disk drive, and handing my Amiga back in to the repair place again having received it still broken, and having finally got it back, I have a working computer and a frazzled head. My advice: be careful with your computer. Don't break it, and you won't have to fix it! You didn't know that, did you? Seriously, it was very painful and very expensive, and no one should have to go through that.
