[net.micro.amiga] Lattice C updates from Commodore

robert@gitpyr.gatech.EDU (Robert Viduya) (11/02/86)

I've noticed a number of messages on the net saying that Lattice has
come out with a new version of their C compiler and that you merely
have to send in the update card (that supposedly came with the compiler),
along with a small fee, and they'll send you the new version. Well,
I purchased my compiler from Commodore (it came with the developer's
kit) and it doesn't have any of these magic update cards.

How do I get an update card? Is Commodore going to be providing the
updates in some, as yet unannounced, way? If not, why didn't they
send me an update card so I could go directly to Lattice to get the
update?

I hope I'm not faced with having to pay the complete price for the
new compiler. If need be, I can probably dig up the receipt for the
developer's kit as proof of purchase.
