Based on the recommendations of various members of this newsgroup, i went ahead and bought Pax Britannica. Now that I have read the rules, I do have one question that I have not beeb able to resolve to my satisfaction: When a player "buys" victory points in the Victory Point Phase of the turn, does he then reduce his Treasury Track Total to zero? There seem to be certain statements in the rules implying that he should, while other statements seem to imply that he should not, but nothing clearly stating one or the other. So how about it? Which way do you guys interpret this? (Is this a stupid question?) "In English, every noun can be verbed." the Shadow ARPA: <jeffh@brl> UUCP: {seismo, decvax, cbosgd}!brl!jeffh

I had a feeling in one direction, but several members of my gaming club felt differently so I actually sent a letter to Victory Games. The amazingly quick response I received confirmed my suspicion. You MUST spend (i.e. convert to VP's) the Treasury remaining on the Track each turn. -- --rick heli (... ucbvax!ucdavis!ccrrick)
