Abstract

Russell Brown art director for Adobe Systems, developers of the

this new technology.

His talk will highlight the color technology used in graphics
applications programs such as Adobe Separator and Illustrator'88, Aldus
Freehand, as well as that used in color output devices.

Russell will discuss the color proofing now possible at 300 dots per
inch with the QMS Script 100, how the color technology behind the Lino 300
makes the creation of color keys and Cromalins possible.

He will touch on the Mac interfaces that now allow on screen pantone
color selection. What can be done about discrepanies between the color
you see on the screen and the color you get in print, advances in
color slide technology and more.
