TELSTOR 3.00 (tm) from BEKRO International, Ltd. is a new product which allows users of UNIX based systems as well as IBM PCs to send, receive, archive, and retrieve all of their business communications, including telexes, email, mailgrams, telegrams, cablegrams, courier delivered letters, and USPS letters. Users create messages using any text editor or word processor. After the system guides them through the addressing of the message, the text of the message is stored in the system database for later retrieval. The message is then sent automatically via Western Union's EasyLink service with no user intervention. Messages may be sent to one or many locations. Undeliverable messages are brought to the user's attention. Incoming messages are routed to the terminals of their addressees. Messages can be routed to any number of users, departments, or groups. Incoming messages are also stored in the system database. Once stored in the system database, messages are accessible by up to 13 user defined classifications. Messages can be viewed on a terminal or printed out. Users can be limited to seeing only certain messages in the database. More information on this product is available from Albert M.
