Parkridge develops Unix software tools targeted at a audience that would attend an Usenix conference. Therefore our company wanted to do a mailing to Usenix attendees to let them know of MUI, our interface tool. Usenix conference office informed us the mailing list was not available by uucp, so we hired a typist to put the list on our computer. To offset some of our costs in doing this, and to help other small companies we thought we would make it available by uucp to companies on usenet.
