[I would normally consider this to be basically a repeat, but since we had a few problems with the original, I decided to be flexible. RWH.] On July 1, 1986 NetResults offered a Convergent UNIX MiniFrame I for $3995 to the USENET community. Included: 10 mhz 68010 processor, 1 MB memory, 50MB disk, 640 KB floppy, 2 RS232 ports, 1 RS422 port, 1 Centronics port, System 5.2 UNIX, and a Convergent PT terminal. Options: $150 extra for an second terminal, other options were listed. As of October 10, 1986 NetResults is withdrawing the offer for the $150 additional terminal and the prices for the options will go up at least 20%. You have until Midnight October 10, 1986 to call in and qualify for the original offer. After that time the new prices will be in effect and the second terminal will cost $625. Remember to tell the operator that you saw this on USENET or you will pay the new prices now(!). Magazine ads and direct mail ads have been sent out and you must let the operator know you saw it here to qualify for the lower prices. Call 800-824-7888 ask for operator 237, or call direct 408-559-4600. Thanks for your support!! PS: For those of you waiting for response by mail we have finally caught up. You will be receiving your information package by mail this week. PPS: We have added three new packaged systems at $7995, $13,995 and $16,995. Call for info. -- Ron Heiby usenet@cuae2.ATT.COM Moderator: mod.newprod & mod.os.unix AT&T-IS, /app/eng, Lisle, IL (312) 810-6109 Submissions should go to newprod@cbosgd.ATT.COM.
