Article: 12:10 Ok, even though they would be kind-of far away, the Los Altos Rod and Gun Club is the best. They have targets from 10 to 100 yards (300?) a tin-can range (*) and a trap and skeet section. They're at 14750 Skyline Blvd in Los Gatos. They are also pretty hard to find if you haven't been there before. There is also the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club located across from Stevens Creek Resevoir. They are be threatened by a new zoning ordinance that might close them down. Targetmasters in an indoor pistol range located at 122 Minnis Circle in Milpitas. They have a set of different enclosed target ranges with electric target retrieval. Not a very busy place during the day. They are hidden in an industrial park. The Peninsula Sportsmen's Club is located at 1600 Rutgers in *East Palo Alto* (roll up your windows and lock your doors on the way there ;-) ). They are a trap and skeet range ONLY. It is a nice facility that looks out toward the San Mateo bridge(?). The Santa Clara/Winchester County Shooting Center is located at 200 Metcalf Rd in San Jose (off Bernal and 101). They have 22 pistol targets, 25 Rifle targets, 5 skeet and 8 trap areas. That's about all I could remember or find... Gary (hplabs,ihnp4,allegra)oliveb!olivee!gnome
