Article: 1:13 Ok, because our friends in Canada can't get hold of the DW tape... No, a .357 magnum will NOT go through an engine block. The best that any "normal" gun can do is make a smudge on the surface or possibly hit something in the engine compartment a little more delicate (like the distributor cap or fuel/electrical). And NO, shooting a gas tank will not make it explode. They even tried using tracer bullets and that didn't even do it. If I remember correctly, they may have gotten it to explode by hitting it with an incendiary bullet -- but incendiary bullets make a pretty big boom when they hit. At the end of the film, they drag out a 50mm anti-tank gun with incendiary, tracer, and armor-piercing bullets and completely demolish a car. THOSE rounds will go through an engine block like butter. Yow! I guess there are enough people out there that can't get the tape -- I guess I can do a detailed review at a later date. Gary
