Article: 10:25 Best Co., the catalog chain, is selling Ruger 10/22s for $120 and Federal Lighting .22 LR for $1 per box. Edelman's is selling HK91s and HK93s for $510. Although Edelman's sells retail in the East, I would expect similar price reductions for HK guns to take effect nationally. It appears that HK reduced its jobber prices by about $30 per gun. Due to generally poor gun sales this year and especially low demand for assault rifles, be on the watch for lower gun prices as dealers clean out old inventory. Galils have also come down in price. The introduction of the AKS Chinese and Yugoslav semi-auto AK47s has increased the competition is this already slow market. (Slow gun sales this year are attributed to the economic slump in the oil states and the farm states.) Jon Kaplowitz ihnp4!erc3ba!jfka
