Neil Knox has an article in the February issue of Guns & Ammo, in which he makes what appears to be a sincere attempt to unravel the intricacies of What Happened. He also drops a couple of innuendos about the situation at NRA, which lend considerable credence to !jfka's fulminations. It occurs to me, though, that IF there IS in fact a power elite inside the NRA which is acting independently of the interest or desires of the membership, they may be in deep yogurt at this point - because the evidence is mounting that there were covert negotiations between the opposing forces involved in the passage of SB 2414, and if the rednecks in MY gun club are any indication, the NRA membership, if they wake up to the situation, will be even more difficult to placate than they were to awaken.
