Since these where the times an average factory worker takes his (her) breaks, their old ad campaign seemed to imply drinking 3 a day. 10, 2 and 4 were supposed to be the time your blood sugar was low. You were supposed to drink a Dr. Pepper to "pep" you up. (I hope Classic Coke makes it to Durham soon. I don't seem to be able to drink as much DP (my current substitute) as Old Coke.)
