Points of information: 1) Is anybody out there in info-music@BRL.ARPA land resending all these proceedings to net.music and all those other places? As anyone on the ARPA net can testify, the inverse is being taken care of. 2) There have been several notes that I wanted to answer w/o sending copies to the Entire World, but I don't even know how to get mail to anyone not on the ARPA net. Perhaps someone could educate me about a single, simple method that always works? Alright, how about several hairy methods that usually work? Meanwhile, I remain, +++paul (ARPAnet: pjt@BRL-VOC.ARPA) (UUCP: ???) (CSNET: ???) (... )

We are working on fixing up the ARPA side from lines so you can reply to USENET submissions, but it isn't as easy as it appears. The best bet is to try user%usenet-host@berkeley or user%usenet-host.uucp@brl-bmd and if that doesn't work, try something like usenet-host!user%decvax.uucp@brl-bmd. since DECVAX seems to know more about the location of some USENET sites than BRL does. BRL-TGR (the USENET node gateway) is not connected by UUCP. Instead we rsh the news off of Seismo. 0Ron
