Had a couple bottle stash of the real Coke. Coke Classic rolled into Indianapolis this weekend. Taste tested with three avid real Coke drinkers the old bottles versus the Classic. All three of us noted a slight difference between Classic and the bottles. The difference was minor as the bottles were four or five months old versus Coke in cans. The conclusion is that Classic is close enough. As I pour my glass of Classic and get five inches of foam versus one inch of liquid, my favorite soda is back. Coke clothes also rolled into Indianapolis two weeks ago. A Indianapolis-Ohio department chain (Lazarus) is carrying the clothes. The clothes look okay but the prices were *high*. An interesting story about the clothes appeared in the Wall Street Journal Aug 2 (I believe). Coke contracts with a clothes maker for the clothes. The clothes maker subcontracts with Far East suppliers. A union manufacturer in the southern states have yanked their Coke machine out becuase the clothes are not USA made. Oh, well. -- Chris DeVoney voice: 317/842-7162 Que Corporation uucp: ihnp4!inuxc!que!chris Indianapolis, IN #include <trademarks.all && disclaimer.all> /* you know what these are for */
