I went to a supermarket in LA last night, and I saw a sign saying "Classic Coke." Now, the New Coke was selling for $1.79 for a six pack of 12 oz. cans, and what they were calling "Classic Coke", which looked to me like old Coke that they were storing, was selling for $2.79 for a six pack of 8 oz. cans!! I assume the store was storing the cans of old Coke- has this happened anywhere else? How much are they charging for the new old stuff?

According to the Coca-Cola bottling company offices in Santa Ana (which I am assuming is the same company as the one in LA) Coca-Cola Classic won't be in this area until September 13.

Our local Target store (a K-mart type store, for those in areas where Target ain't) sells Classic Coke for $1.69 a six-pack (cans). --Greg
