There seems to be a few points about this sugar controversy that are being overlooked: In cases where corn syrup or other non-sucrose sweeteners are being labeled as sugar, Coke is probably not trying to defraud the public. They clearly are trying to change their packaging to read "and/OR sucrose". The bottlers (especially on the green bottles) are undoubtably trying to use up their supplies of caps which say "sugar" only. Those individuals who cannot consume corn products for medical reasons could probably sue Coke for mislabeled product if they have some medical reaction to a bottle of Coke, but WHY would they want to risk their health in order to sue a company? The people I know with this problem would just rather know what's in the bottle so they can avoid dangerous products. I simply don't like the taste of Coke w/HFCS and won't buy it. (Classic or otherwise)
