[net.ham-radio.packet] WA8DED multi channel firmware running in DL

F33PAP%DHHDESY3.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA (08/02/85)

From: F33PAP%DHHDESY3.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA
We got the WA8DED PROM-listing via ARPA and BITNET, copied it from our
IBM 3084Q to a floppy disk in RT-11 format, then to CP/M and ISIS.
DL1HK then burned the PROM's and put one into his TAPR-TNC.
The firmware ran at once without any errors (giving very usefull info
on the packets transmitted in the monitor mode which a TAPR will not
give, packet header, protocol identifier, connect request packets).
DF7HI (who has a PBBS running here in Hamburg/DL) thinks he can
modify his PBBS program to accept 4 user simultanously using only one
TNC.
