From: BRUCE%UWALOCKE.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA Regarding John Moore's question; Without getting terribly verbose,The "World Chip" is a FSK Modem chip made by Advanced Micro Devices. It is also known as an Am7910 and meets the specs for, Bell 103,113,108 CCITT V.23 and V.21 (hence the "world" designation). It doesn't do Bell 212 protocol. It is a 28 pin chip and the different modes are pin selectable. It needs + and - 5v. Bruce A. Edwards N7EHM BRUCE%UWALOCKE.BITNET
