In reading the discussions about government and private enterprise I am reminded that I used to see signs in stores which said: "Thank you for your patronage, please come again" this can be contrasted to what (i have heard about, but not seen) existed in WWII Germany and also to some degree in any totalitarian state: "Thank the Fuehrer for giving this to you" Perhaps the reason I don't see the former sign very much any more is because we are moving towards a system of government domination more characteristic of WWII Germany?
