Does anyone know anything about the reliability 40 MB hard disks
for the UNIX PC?

Also, has anybody had any experience with one from any VAR ?
(I have heard of a firm in N.J. called Computer Integration Assoc.
that offers a 40 MB drive, anyone have any experience with them?)

I've said it before, and here again:

You will be very sorry, and frustrated, if you partake of secondary
storage, on a Un*x system, with avg. access times > ~35ms.

Someone is peddling a 40Mb hard disk (sic) for the AT&T PC with
avg. access of 85 (eighty-five!!) ms. That is a hard !floppy!

Also, check for the formatted capacity; there's lots of shleezebags
in this biz nowadays, and you may only find 31 meg usable.
