[net.micro.att] More 7300 Questions - ms-dos disks, libraries, printers

daveb@rtech.UUCP (Dave Brower) (05/25/85)

Here's a few more questions that I hope some current 7300 habitue
might answer.

---- MS-DOS disk compatibility:

1. Can the 7300 write files to an MS-DOS diskette?

2. Can the 7300 format MS-DOS diskettes?

3. Can the 7300 deal with the MS-DOS hierarchical file system, or
is it limited to the flat system at the root?

---- Shared libraries:

4. What command line(s) to you give to link with a shared library?

5. Is there a limit on the number of shared libraries a program
    may access?

6. Can a user create shared libraries?

7. Is there any known limit on the number of processes that may
be referencing a shared library at one time?

---- Printers:

8. What printers are suitable for use with the 7300?

9. Is there a relatively standard way of dumping a screen image
to a printer, or will we need to write our own routines to do it?
