[net.micro.att] UNIX PC: Some external terminals need stty tab3

adam@npois.UUCP (Adam V. Reed) (05/31/85)

If you use the UNIX PC from an external terminal, you may notice
that some termcap-using programs, such as vi, behave incorrectly with
some terminals. This is because the termcap descriptions of some
terminals assume stty tab3, which is not done automatically by the UNIX
PC. If this happens, just insert

stty tab3

in your .profile (or .kshrc), and chances are things will then work OK.
